This is a unique style of large, orbital action floor sander and polisher. It has a plate of dimension 400mm x 300mm taking sanding sheets or polishing pads of that size to bring a large area to a high quality fine finish quickly and efficiently. The rectangular plate also allows the sander to approach walls and corners very closely – within about 10mm.
An ideal sander for parquetry floors where the timber grain is in every which direction, it is also a very effective machine for sanding decking, as the gaps between the boards don’t worry this machine in the slightest.
Polishing pads and sanding discs in all grits and grades are available.
These machines do not have provision for dust extraction, but owing to the small amount of movement associated with their functioning, dust is not stirred into the air as much as with other floor sanders.
